Why Oxygen Mask?The metaphor is about putting yourself first like flight attendant says on the airplane, so that you are able to be there for the ones you love. During someone’s weight loss, weight stabilization, or maintaining their weight for good health; my workbook system is like no other on the market today. My double workbook set is all about the reader’s relationship with food. They get to explore this through the easy to read workbook style approach. The books are not about a diet, not a fitness program, not a recipe book, nor a menu plan. What is needed is a solution. This is how I counseled clients for years and it actually started as a guide for my sister in law and evolved from there. "Adjust your thoughts to adjust your waistline for good!" if you don't fix what you tell yourself, you will continue on that painful emotional roller coaster of eating. The workbook system gets the reader to discover the internal chatter of what is driving them to make the decisions about food, good and bad. They get to find out if this is negative self talk. They are then guided by me to figure out awareness, positive self talk, changes, and strategies to implement that are healthy and fit into the reader’s lifestyle. Finally a second small purse/pocket size workbook that is almost like a smaller operator’s manual on how the reader can stay on track and be successful for good. Diets and programs preach about their ability to “keep it off”, however, I have seen the results and the emotional pain associated with this fallacy, by working for many of those programs and seeing the results first hand. People need a tool to get to the “WHY” they choose a particular food or portion size. People need this tool to make positive changes and a tool to ensure success for many years to come. The tools are my workbooks – Oxygen Mask – to ensure success! This workbook takes the reader on their own discovery journey from emotional eating, dining out, metabolism, to foods in her cupboard and so much more.
